When will my Click & Collect order be ready for collection? For in-stock items, Click & Collect orders will generally be available to collect within one (1) working day if your order is placed up to an hour before closing. However, this time may vary if we experience any delays in processing your payment. Please note: due to the size of our team, our hours are subject to change, sometimes at short notice, see our 'Contact' page for the most up-to-date information. Once your order has been placed and payment has cleared, a member of our shop floor team will check that all the items in your order are available and have not been sold throughout the day. As all of our stock is stored on site, during busy times there is a small chance that the online inventory won't have the most up-to-date information regarding available stock levels. Your order will be packed and you will be notified (via email or text) when it is ready for collection. Please do not attempt to collect your order prior to being notified of its availability as any delay in packing will likely be due either to lack of stock or that we are experiencing a particularly busy spell in-store. In the unlikely event that your order contains an out-of-stock item (due to a delay in inventory tracking at the time your order was placed), we will contact you directly to discuss your options. If we can re-order your item, it should generally reach us within five working days of placing a wholesale order with our suppliers. In the rare instance that an item is unavailable for re-order, or is on back-order, we will happily cancel your order/part of your order and refund the price of any unfulfilled items. If you are happy to wait for a back-order to be fulfilled, we are happy to oblige and will update you on your order accordingly. Please be aware that we will not allow collections at any time outwith our stated operating hours. If you are not available to collect from our store during these times, and within 21 working days of your order being 'ready' for collection, please opt for delivery (additional postage fees apply).

How can I find out when you are recruiting? Thanks for your interest in working with us! We are a very tightly knit team that takes pride in each and every contribution made towards making our small business venture as successful and rewarding as can be. For the most up-to-date information on vacancies, please follow our instagram (@peggysemporium) and Facebook (@peggysgiftemporium) pages, as we will always advertise on social media first. If you're looking for flexible part-time or weekend work, please get in touch with Emily at emily.peggysemporium@gmail.com Unfortunately, we are not likely to be recruiting any new full-time or management positions in the near future, as we are primarily a family business, and every one of our higher-ups is a Jarvie! Please be aware that we staff our store from an employee bank shared with our sister business, Jarvie's of St Andrews, our café located just downstairs from Peggy's Emporium. If you are interested in working with us, you must be flexible and willing to take shifts over both premises, as per business requirements. This will provide you with a wide range of experiences, both customer facing and behind-the-scenes, subject to training. Weekend work at Peggy's Emporium will include shop floor work in a customer-facing role. If you are offered shifts with Jarvie's of St Andrews, you will initially be required to carry out front-of-house duties, until trained otherwise.

Would Peggy's Emporium be interested in stocking my products?Yes - we are always looking for new and exciting lines to stock in our store and online! If you are a local, UK-based artist or small business looking to stock your products in our brick-and-mortar store and/or e-commerce site, we would love to hear from you! We favour brands that would fit well with our Victorian/Gothic/feline aesthetic and whose values align with our own (please refer to our sustainability statement for more information on this). Please email any enquiries to Emily at emily.peggysemporium@gmail.com with the subject "Stockist Enquiry" followed by your business or brand name. If you have a website or social media site that would give us a good idea of the products you offer, be sure to include a link to this in your email! Alternatively, feel free to send samples (and a way to get back in touch with you!) directly to our trade address: Peggy's Emporium First Floor Studio 141 South Street St Andrews KY16 9UN
